About Travel Measured

Travel Measured is run by Deepak, a developer in Chennai, India, who builds data tools. It started from a simple frustration: most crowd calendars never say where their numbers come from, so there is no way to know whether to trust them.

So this site records real ride waits through the day, labels every day as measured or estimated, shows the reason behind every estimate, and publishes how often it is right.

If a number cannot be traced back to a reading or a stated rule, it does not go on the page.

You can see Deepak's other work on his portfolio and on GitHub.

The site is paid for by affiliate ticket links, which never change a crowd level. How that works.
